Besides improving your skills, its a great way to meet people & get in some cardio.

Kids: We will begin the 6 week session with basic passing skills and rules. We then split the older and younger kids, who then proceed through all the skills (setting, serving, hitting, defense) at a pace consisten with their level. They’ll learn, have fun, and get alot of reps!

Beginner: 6 weeks. This class is for people learning to play the game – if you have never picked up a volleyball before or want to get ready to play with friends this summer. Learn basic rules and skills like passing, serving, setting and hitting.

Intermediate: 6 weeks. This class is for the player who wants to play better. Some basic skills work but much of the class will be devoted to learning more advanced skills like hitting, hand setting, side out strategies, and defense.

Advanced: 6 weeks. This class is for those who want to significantly accelerate their skill level. The best instructors on the beach will provide skill and drill training that the top pros use (Thursday nights are taught by AVP Player Andres Posada & NCAA Nat’l Champ Jenna Johnson). Hand setting, shots/hitting, strategies, plyos, and more, are all wrapped into this class. Many from this class have gone on to win CBVA and VBV tournaments.

After drills/skills, all levels have open play. You’ll meet great people, and get in a workout. Classes have been featured on The Bachelor, CNN, Today in LA, the Easy Reader, and more.

Adult Volleyball Classes – THURSDAYS. – 6 week sessions (6-sunset)

Classes run 3/14-4/18, 4/25-5/30, 8/1-9/5, 9/12-10/17

+ a 4 week session from 6/6-6/27

Adult Volleyball Classes – SATURDAY – 6 weeks (9:30-11:30am

Classes run 2/10-3/17, 4/6-5/11, 5/18-6/22, 8/17-9/21, 10/5-11/9

Youth Volleyball Classes – THURSDAYS. – 6 week sessions (5-6pm), Age 8-14

Classes start 4/4-5/9, 5/16-6/20, 8/1-9/5

Instructors:

Bill Sigler, former AAA rated player and has coached youth indoor teams to some of the top ranked AVP pros. He has taught this class for 25 years and runs Smackfest (the largest Coed 4’s Beach Volleyball tournament in the U.S.A.).

Jenna Johnson – formerly one of the top college players in the U.S., Jenna went on to play beach volleyball at USC, where her Lady Trojans won 2 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. She was coached by the best on the beach and is excited to pass along that knowledge to our classmates!

Brad Torsone – playing on the AVP for over 20 years, Brad has been one of the biggest blockers on the pro tour. Nowadays you can see him in the Pro Division of Smackfest dishes saucy sets and putting opponents in a closet at the net!

Andres Posada – former college standout indoor player, “Po” went on to coach collegiate beach volleyball, plays on the AVP tour, and also coaches for a local volleyball club.

Brook Billings – a 3 time All American at USC, Brook played professional volleyball all over the world for 12 years. He also played on the USA Men’s National Team and finished 4th in the 2008 Olympics. He will coach the Advanced Class.

Many other Co-Instructors which includes former Olympians, AVP pros, and Cap-5 certified coaches.
